We really lucked out in the neighbor department with our recent move. Between the fabulous folks at Verde Home and deliciousness that is Miller Union restaurant, we knew we were moving to a great spot. But, things got even better as we learned about the fantastic theater conservatory, Fabrefaction Theater Conservatory, located just a few doors down!
We reached out to Evelyn Hoff, Executive Director of Fabrefaction Theatre Conservatory, to learn more about our new neighbors, and thought you’d like to be in the know as well…

Fabrefaction is starting their fifth season at their 999 Brady Avenue location, which is perfectly situated in a converted warehouse. Evelyn, along with Christina Hoff and a group of dedicated theater students from across the country have shaped what is now one of Atlanta’s leading non-profit organizations dedicated to providing professional performance training opportunities, moulding the next generation of theater artists and patrons.

Since its inception in 2007, Fabrefaction has produced over 60 shows, and was named Atlanta’s “Best Rising Theater Company” by Creative Loafing in 2012. Each season, the organization strives to produce a diverse collection of works featuring classic, contemporary, new musicals and plays, in an effort to both preserve and advance the art of theater.
Evelyn shares what makes Fabrefaction so special: “Our students and staff are what make Fabrefaction Theater Company (FTC) special. We work beyond the call of duty and push ourselves to always strive to do better.”
Coming up later this month, Fabrefaction will put on a series of West Side Story, opening October 23, and running through November 9. Learn more about all the goings on at FTC by checking out their website here. We can’t wait to see the show!
We’re so thrilled to be surrounded by such fantastic people, all with great a great passion for what they do. Thank you to Evelyn Hoff and the Fabrefaction Theater Company team for allowing us to share a bit about them here. If you’re in the area visiting our store, be sure to check out what’s going on, just a few doors down at FTC!
